Amy Ward movie list

Amy Ward is a multiracial actor of Irish and Korean descent. She earned her BFA in Acting from Boston University's School of Theatre, where she was the recipient of the Luo Yan award for theatrical excellence. She has also trained at London Academy of Music and Dramatic and Art, and the British American Drama Academy, where she continued to explore the passion and aptitude for Shakespeare she discovered as a child. Amy's lifelong curiosity for the human condition also drew her to Psychology, in which she completed a minor between her studies at BU, and then Columbia University. By incorporating her study of the psyche into her artistic endeavors, Amy aims to use storytelling to deepen people's understanding of one another, and encourage empathy and compassion in an increasingly divided society. Originally from North Carolina, Amy has lived in over 10 different cities across 3 countries. Her nomadism exposed her to a diversity of cultures, as well as dozens of dialects and accents, which sparked her curiosity for speech and vocals. Amy is a classically trained singer, and has 5 years of Linklater voice and speech education, which she plans to continue. Amy made her television debut in Dick Wolf's FBI. Notable theatre credits include Maya Lin in Memorial (Boston Playwright's Theatre), Andromache in Tiger at the Gates (The Huntington Theatre), Professor Trixie in The Cradle Will Rock (Boston Center for the Arts), and Kiki Dumper in Wet Goods (Eastern States Exhibition). She also served as Director's Assistant on Caught (The Play Company), and SHE (The Jinah Parker Project.)
